Author Salman Rushdie recently traveled to Iceland to receive the Halldór Laxness International Literary Prize. During his trip, he toured the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies, where Director Guðrún Nordal and Professor Guðvarður Már Gunnlaugsson introduced him to some of the institute’s most notable manuscripts.
