Summer School in Manuscript Studies − August 2024
The Summer School in Manuscript Studies 2024 will be held August 6-15 in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The Summer School is a collaboration between the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies, the University of Iceland, the University of Copenhagen and the National and University Library of Iceland.
The summer school in Manuscript Studies offers training in palaeography, codicology and transcription of Scandinavian manuscripts as well as editorial technique and textual criticism.
Application deadline is March 31st 2024.

Manuscripts in exhibition
An exhibition of Icelandic medieval manuscripts is set to open in the Institute's new building, Edda, in the summer of 2024.
Three manuscripts from the Institute’s collection are currently on display in the National Museum in Reykjavik in addition to some fragments from the Museum’s own collection.
